Well, it seems to be the norm around here to mention the fact that this is my first post. I am kind of just testing the waters right now, so it does seem like an easy first topic. =)

I own a small e-commerce site called http://www.caramellacandy.com/ and I wanted to start this blog for a couple of different reasons. First, as all small business owners know: any way to get your info out there should be taken advantage of.

WAIT! Before you write this off as just another business shamlessly plugging their product into every post, let me just say that this isn't why I created this blog.

I DO want to let people know what's hot, what's new, and what's on sale. BUT, I also want to provide people with interesting, fun (and let's face it, most of the time seemingly useless) information on all things sweet!
